What is your favorite hobby?
I learned the Chinese instruments Gu Zheng and Gu Qin when I was a child, and I still love them. I also like Chinese calligraphy. Besides, I like traveling and trying out different cuisines.
What is the most rewarding thing about being a teacher?
Ever since I was a child, I have seen my mom devoting herself to her students, and it is extremely rewarding when she sees her students receive the kind of assistance they need. So for me, I also enjoy the feeling of helping people out through delivering knowledge.
What is your next travel destination?
I really want to go to Italy mainly because Italian soccer team is my favorite. I also love the sound of Italian language and Italian food. So if I have the time and money, I would definitely go to Italy.
What do you love about Chinese language?
I love the fact that it’s not alphabetical. It’s very mysterious even for native speakers because you can always explore and find out unknown characters, words, phrases, meanings…etc. I think it’s for adventure lovers!
How do you describe yourself?
I think I’m friendly, loving and considerate. I’m always open to new new ideas.
